Women’s soccer league to play in Bay Area (AP)

Professional women’s soccer will be returning to the San Francisco Bay area. The Women’s Professional Soccer league announced Wednesday it has reached an agreement with a local investment group to operate a team for the debut season in 2009. The team’s nickname, logo, and location will be announced later.
