US women to play exhibitions in Scandinavia (AP)

The U.S. women’s soccer team will play exhibitions at Norway on July 2 and at Sweden three days later as it prepares to defend its Olympic gold medal at the Beijing Games. The match in Sweden will be the first time U.S. coach Pia Sundhage leads the national team against her native country. She played for Sweden in two World Cups and one Olympics.
